Do I need an account, and does the free plan cost anything?

Jam Room asks you to sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address — this is what keeps your jams backed up if you lose your phone. The Free plan is genuinely free: no payment details, no time limit, no ads.

What devices does Jam Room support?

Jam Room runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. An Android version is planned. With Pro, your jams sync across as many Apple devices as you like; on the Free plan you're synced on one device at a time — signing in somewhere else makes that the active device, and the first one stops syncing until you switch back or upgrade.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Writing, recording, chord and melody detection, and the metronome all work offline, and your changes sync automatically once you're back online. Only the AI features — transcription, line suggestions, and rhymes — need a connection.

Can I get my songs out of Jam Room?

Always. Export your lyrics as text and your voice memos as audio files, straight to anywhere on your device — no subscription needed and nothing locked in.

What happens to my songs if I stop paying for Pro?

Nothing is deleted. You keep every jam, recording, and folder, and you can still open and edit them — you simply return to the Free plan's limits, like syncing on one device and the monthly caps on AI suggestions.

Does the rhyme finder work in my language?

Jam Room and its rhyme dictionaries work in English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Polish.

Is there a free trial, and can I cancel?

The annual plan comes with a 3-day free trial. You can cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings and keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
